Aberdeen's Wedding Florist was started 46 years ago by its present owner, Jim Harney. At age 19, Jim invested in a small 600 sq. ft. store on Montrose Avenue near Crawford Ave. in Chicago. Then, after 1 year, he expanded to a 1,200 sq. ft. store and work area at 5802 W. Montrose Ave. (also in Chicago).
Today, Jim is proud to have 26 dedicated employees who have been serving brides at Aberdeens for 25-40 years. After 46 years in business, Aberdeens continues to strive to make every bride that walks through its doors, a satisfied customer on her wedding day.
